#Balance

So I’ve been kinda out of it the past few weeks. I was out of inspiration when it came to the blog and took some time to focus more on myself. I have trouble balancing things sometimes: I’ll get really focused on work and the blog and notice my personal life and health fall by the wayside. The past two weeks I tried really hard to get back to center. I started reading and working out again, two things I love but have to force myself to do from time to time.

As a blogger/content creator, it can be easy to get caught up in the feeling of having to put out information. We need to keep people engaged, right? Well I wasn’t feeling anything. I took and deleted pictures and wrote and deleted captions and potential posts because they felt forced and inauthentic. There’s enough information out there; I’m not going to put something out that I don’t fully believe in or that’s going to waste anyone’s time. That’s not what I’m here for.

I’m here to share my life and my loves, but sometimes that life is quieter and emptier. And that’s ok. So here’s to me finding my center and learning to balance it all. Thanks for your patience!
